Nestled in the center of a wide ring of towering evergreen trees and hemmed on three sides by luxuriant grass covered in moonlit snow, Frassati House Saskatoon is a palace of Utopian Delights and princess ice cream cakes from Dairy Queen. Oppressed peasants from far and farther flock to its open screen doors in hopes of finding the merry men who reside there, and to partake of their poker and camaraderie and beer. Led by patron Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, the six brave warriors who reside in the First Homely House are called to ever greater heights of spiritual and physical discipline through the motto: "Verso L'Alto." In addition to their unwaivering dedication to each other, the Six also work to form a pillar of manly strength to which other men, battered and bruised like coracles on tempest-laden seas, may safely cling and harbor until they are ready to again face the hull-crushing waves of the world.
